Pending Bills

Who we elect influences the outcome of pending bills.

For example, bills 1-3 run counter to Christian beliefs where as the fourth supports family life.*

1. The Women’s Health Protection Act of 2025 (S. 2150 / H.R. 12) bill would establish federal protection for killing babies that would override state laws that protect the unborn. (Exodus 20:13 NKJV)
2. The Equality Act of 2025 (S. 1503 / H.R. 15) would include protections for sexual orientation and gender identity in education, public spaces and services, federally funded programs, employment, and other areas. It would eliminate women’s privacy by requiring organizations to allow gender identity to determine access to bathrooms and locker rooms instead of biological sex, risking the safety and fairness in female sports. (Genesis 1:27 NKJV)
3. The Do No Harm Act (H.R. 1954) would limit the use of religious freedom claims as a legal defense within certain contexts, such as healthcare and many other workplace environments. (Acts 5:29 NKJV)
4. The Parents Bill of Rights Act (H.R. 5) would expand parental access to curriculum, books and reading materials in public schools, give parents the right to know if the school allows biological males into female-only spaces such as restrooms or locker rooms, and require a school to need parental consent before calling a child by a preferred name or a pronoun inconsistent with their biological sex. (Proverbs 22:6 NKJV)

Bottom Line

As practicing Christians, the candidates we vote for and pray for influence which bills become law.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.
